Well, I wish I could say it was love at first sight, but we first met over the phone at work. I was in my first week at a new job and I received a phone call from my now husband. The conversation did not go well, as I had to correct him. He still says I was incorrect.
Now, after 16 years of marriage, we are still teasing one-another. No, things are not always perfect, but we are always partners through it all. We are partners while raising our two children or figuring out how to pay the bills. And we partnered together to fight my kidney cancer last year. Life will always present different challenges, but with our sense of humor and our partnership we will tackle situations as they come. I thank God every day for blessing me with such a wonderful and supportive husband.
